Although most of the yarns and wools we use are machine washable for the best results we recommend hand washing. This will prolong the life of your hand knitted item.

To hand wash knitwear, fill a sink or basin with cool water and mild detergent. Submerge the item and gently massage or swirl it for a few minutes. Rinse with cool water and gently press out the excess water.

Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric. Roll the item in a towel to remove any remaining water, then lay flat to air dry.
